Chapter 12 - The hearing

The hearing wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. There were only a few people there. They didn’t ask me many questions. Everybody said that Johnny killed Bob, which was a lie. Or maybe they didn’t know the truth. I wondered why nobody could get it right. When it was my turn, I didn’t get to tell everyone the truth, because they didn’t ask me who killed Bob. Then a few days passed, kinda normal, but something was different. I was bashing into things, and getting bad grades. One day, my english teacher told me that I was failing english. He said he could pass me with a C if I came up with a good piece of writing. One time, some Socs came up, but I scared them away. I got home, and Darry yelled at me for getting bad grades all the time. So I yelled at him back. Then Soda ran out, telling us not to fight. We went after him, and quickly caught up. He said he wanted us to stop fighting. We all went home, and I came to my senses. Johnny WAS dead. Johnny HAD killed Bob. Then I thought. I knew what I was going to do for my english. I started writing the story... of what had happened.

Chapter 11 - Randy lies

Now I had to stay in bed. Probably just today. Today came and went, along with the next day, and the next day. A whole WEEK went by, and I had to stay in bed. That sucked. On the seventh day, Randy came in. He reminded me about having to go to see the judge. I didn’t want to think about that. That scared me. Then he told me that Johnny had had the knife, thus implying that Johnny was dead. I told him the truth, that I had had the knife, thus implying that Johnny was NOT dead. He said Johnny had the knife. I told him I had the knife. He said Johnny had the knife. I told him I had the knife. Then Darry came in, and took Randy out. Darry told Randy not to mention Johnny. I guess Darry meant that Randy should stop lying. Then Darry told me to put out my cigarette, and be a little neater with my books.

Chapter 10-

Dally took the car, so I had to walk home. But I'm fine, cuz Johnny ain't dead. He's fine, don't worry. It's all good. Some guy picked me up in his car, which was nice, though I didn't need a ride that much. I can get home. Which is at... uhh... Well anyway, the guy told me I bleeded on his car seats. How was I bleeding? Right... the rumble. Well, I told him where my house was and he took me there. Most of he Greasers were there. Darry had a band-aid on his forehead, Steve's side was bandaged up, Two-bit's face was a taped up, and he had stitches. I told them all that Johnny was dead, but that's kinda a lie, because Johnny's not really dead. I told them that Dally was gonna blow. That was 100% true. Then Dally called. He said that he robbed a store and that we needed to hide him, cuz the fuzz was after him. We got to the vacant ot and Dally had just got there too. Dally was being chased by the fuzz, and he raised his unloaded gun. I wanted to tell him that he was going to get shot, but he wouldn't hae heard me because by the time the words would have left my mouth, Dally was dead. The cops shot him, cuz they must've thought that Dally was going to shoot them. So they shot him first. next thing I knew, I woke up under lots of blankets.
